See Shell Digital Study

This see shell was painted digitally as a study by me as I learn the ropes of digital painting. My main focus was honing all of my energy on the shell, making it bold and dynamic, but still giving it some stylized flair. I find it very gripping, and think the contrast really shines here. I also think it looks very sharp against the solid background.

I had fun taking something familiar to me and trying to push it even further with a new medium!
