See Shell on the Oregon Coast

This piece is a tiny 4x6 in. watercolor painting detailed with colored pencil. I was inspired to make the piece because I had recently become infatuated with the Oregon coast after seeing some pictures online. Little did I know at the time I was painting this, I would one day get to call this beautiful state home!

The see shell came from a doodle in my sketchbook--I thought the idea was fun and decided to keep rolling with it. I enjoyed putting something kind of unexpected in an otherwise beautiful landscape.
